This patient case presentation will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of candidemia. Common species of Candida responsible for candidemia will be identified along with appropriate treatment options for each species. Risk factors for candidemia will be identified, and evidence based recommendations for non-pharmacological management strategies will be summarized.
