PipelineRx Denver Office Realizes Extensive Growth in Downtown Location
First Expansion Office Reaches Critical Mass with Full Development Team
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.—June 13, 2016— PipelineRx, a leading medication management services and technology company focused on clinical telepharmacy, today announced that the Company’s presence in the Lower Downtown (LoDo) district has reached a critical mass of fully staffed pharmacy operations and technology teams. Under the leadership of Ben Buxton, vice president of engineering, the Company has completed staffing of the software development team and is actively developing new technologies. PipelineRx remains dedicated to innovation in the telehealth space with operations thriving in the booming technology scene of the LoDo district.
Since opening last August, the office has expanded its operations to sixteen in-office employees – and serves as a physical hub for dozens of telepharmacists in the region as well as company senior executives Kevin Jones, vice president of pharmacy services, and Eric Carter, vice president of integration. According to market research by Transparency Market Research, the global telemedicine technologies and services market is expected to exceed $80 billion by 2023. The Company is positioned for continued success, with development teams and company leadership anchored in this expanding region. As a service center to a variety of critical access hospitals and a major integrated delivery network (IDN) in the region, the Denver location – also home to PipelineRx’s data center – is fostering innovation and cultivating excellence in the clinical telepharmacy space.
“Opening an office in Denver was strategic for our Company as it places us in the neighborhood of important clients, and positions us in an exciting, growing region of the country for technology,” stated Brian Roberts, CEO of PipelineRx. “Now, after nine months, the new location has exceeded our expectations and our decision has been reaffirmed time and again by the availability of top notch development talent, the thriving city environment for our team, and the central location for customers and industry events.”
“When I first joined PipelineRx, I was excited to begin forming a development team to advance our leading telepharmacy technology and match the pace of the telehealth industry that is growing so rapidly,” said Ben Buxton, vice president of Engineering at PipelineRx. “Now, in less than a year, we have reached a critical mass in our office, with a fully staffed and integrated development team. Our central location in the Denver area is an exciting prospect not only for our development team, but also for the Company as a whole as it continues to lead the telepharmacy space.”
