PipelineRx Announces Two Contracts with Recently Launched Telepharmacy SaaS Solution
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — PipelineRx, a leading medication management services company focused on clinical telepharmacy, is expanding its business beyond its industry leading remote telepharmacy solutions and adding a critical Healthcare Information Technology component, a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. PipelineRx has announced the launch of PipelineRx SaaS Community-Version, with two beta customer agreements signed.
PipelineRx SaaS Community-Version provides small and critical access hospitals with an extremely cost-effective remote based platform to aggregate all medication orders into a single repository regardless of the method of order placement. This web enabled technology is making it easier for hospital pharmacies to manage the processing of all faxed, scanned, as well as electronically (CPOE) generated medication orders. Management and clinical workflow of all orders is also made easier by dashboard tools optimized for mobile devices that allow for remote access to all outstanding orders as well as a robust integrated reporting engine. In addition to being hosted in a private cloud environment (i.e. no client hardware requirements), having such features as STAT order prioritization, location specific based queue capability, and the ability to automatically split multi-page faxed orders, enables Hospitals to utilize PipelineRx’s new system to become a cost-effective replacement of older legacy queuing systems.
